Hey I never heard para social applied to that way but it’s interesting that people feel attached to influencers, I guess like they do to celebrities. I wouldn’t call that one-sided I would call that a fantasy but that’s just me. I can see why it would be off putting to you, it is to me too.

I'd never heard of that application either until I read the article. But I do understand the fantasy aspect. With the meltdown I had it was because I was using F**ecbook as a crutch to get in touch with people who I did know years ago but in the cold light of day only had me as a"friend" to increase their presence.
