Thanks for your kind words and comments everyone. I decided to continuing sharing due to receiving PMs from members saying how much they were enjoying the distraction. I won't complain as I am so excited.

Hope thank you for your kind words and sharing in the excitement. I do feel like you are all virtual friends and we'll include you all in the day as much as we can via cyber space.

Amethist, yes Anthony is having a wedding band, he had it hand made to his design. He said he doesn't like fuss or bling (I'll happily have more :wink:) so it is plain, thick and wide. I am having channel set diamonds which go more than half way around the band so when you look at my wedding band all you see is diamonds. I have been banned by Anthony from trying on the ring anymore....geez, its as if he expects me just to sit here and look at the box :rolleyes:.

There was a pleasant surprise when my tiara and jewellery arrived....the flowers are actually material and add to the elegance. I wrote to them in California as I was so delighted.

Have I mentioned the invitations?....They are three layers of rose gold, light gold and transparent paper with embedded dodo vine in gold pinned together at the top and bottom with heart shaped pins. We have included RSVP Cards and self addressed and stamped envelopes in gold to make it easier for guests. I can't show them here sorry as I would divulge too much information.

It was interesting talking to Lisa (Marlene) about the invitations as we personalise each one and it is all professionally and individually printed. Lisa was saying that where she is they have a general invitation with the details of the wedding on them whereas ours is individual.

Now... to try and get the men sorted!

He he!! I love hearing about your plans, Nicolette. It is a good distraction. It's great too, that you are so excited and everything is going to plan. As for sorting out the men, good luck with that - they can be even more fussy than the girls :rolleyes:

I too must admit it brings a smile to my face when I read your posts. It brings some memories back of the fun and excitment of planning our wedding. You sound like you are really pulling it all together now, so congratulations. I remember it being a little overwhelming at times, all those decisions, but you sound like you and Anthony are really enjoying it. Savour these moments, especially on the day as it just flies...

Thanks for your posts Cherryblossom, Shoka, Keri and Janne.

While we are happy to share most of our wedding details there is one thing Anthony does not want me to disclose and that is the pictures I have of my wedding dress. The one thing I don't want to share is the date. The reason for this is I believe that well intentioned people will PM Anthony as the day nears offering wishes, which of course is lovely, but as some of you would know that too much good stress is not good for PTSD. I want to keep things as calm and as stress free for Anthony as possible.

Anthony is tickled to learn that his family will be making the trip from Queensland for our wedding. He didn't think they would come but I sent invites anyway and they said yes. :occasion:

We have to decide on our wedding song this week while away. There was no discussion involved as we both agreed on "our song" which was my first suggestion. Within a week of meeting Anthony and I both realised how much we both liked the words in the song, that they meant something to both of us and those words surrounded the type of love we were both looking for.

Great Cake! I had one like that at my wedding. I was very bad though...I gave cake to the kids first. The kids were fascinated with it...mine had every color of the rainbow on it with stripes and polka dots and etc. Kids were happy.
