Anxiety For Seemingly No Reason

Awhile back I was getting anxiety attacks for seemingly no reason. They would just come in waves. Then I got SICK with a cold. 3 weeks later I am still having this cold, as my system is very weak from a long illness and colds take "forever" to run their course through me.

Then I recalled that when I originally was sick with this illness, Lyme Disease, from tick bites, shortly before my hospital visit, I was having similar attacks. When I got to the hospital and they did tests, I had an infection in my heart and could have died!

I guess sometimes, we can have anxiety attacks because our physical being is trying to tell us that we are in trouble and to take it easy. I'd forgotten this, but wanted to share it, because most of our attacks usually are PTSD related, though some can be because of something like this too!

It can be quite hard to find where the trauma ends and the rest of me begins. Thanks for pointing out this example, it helps keep things in context.

You are very welcome. I had forgotten it, as the original thing happened in 1990, isn't memory a marvelous thing when it works!
