I was just wondering if anyone here is familiar with Wellness Recovery Action Planning (W.R.A.P.) by Mary Ellen Copeland, PhD. and The Copeland Center.
I posted this in the "therapy" section because, although it is not therapy specifically; it is a therapeutic recovery-based tool that can be used in conjunction with therapy. That, and I didn't see a forum specifically for alternative healing methodologies (maybe I didn't look hard enough?)
Anyway, I use this tool for myself and am also a trained facilitator (able to help people self-direct the development of their own WRAP 1 on 1 in a peer support format) so I know that it has benefits.
Though; please don't get me wrong; I'm not soliciting or promoting. I'm really hoping to elicit discussion of this tool with anyone who might have experience (or who does not but might have constructive questions) with it. I am hoping to get feedback that I might then use to build upon my own WRAP.
Thanks for reading this post (in advance)....here's hoping for some productive discussion.
