Anyone got experience re having a legal guardian?

Guardianship is done through state agencies who provide trained personel. Some are more effective, compassionate, capable than others. Nobody is getting rich doing this job, just fyi.

In an ideal world.

Just like the foster care system provides loving parents to bereft children…. In an ideal work, but in the real world?… The overwhelming majority of foster parents are either abusive/neglectful, or in it for the money, with predictable results.

In the real world? Guardianship/Conservatorship depends almost entirely on the individuals involved & a roulette spin.
