Thank you Gizmo. Dad is still alive, but it is hard to realize he will never be the dad I need him to be. I think he tries. Just sad and definitely a loss.

I miss S. I miss J too. I miss M. I wish she hadn't died.

I miss my H from before he took a better position at his work. There was far less job related stress for him; less overwhelm; far less pressures and expectations and more structure. In my opinion, he had been far happier in his other position.

This kind of reminds me of something I've heard along the way, "Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it."

(((LH))) I hate death. It closes a door on a life and we are forever locked out until we die. I am so sorry you lost your dad. This will be a rough year for you. You will heal but will forever miss him. I am so sorry you have to go through this experience. Hugs and prayers

I miss my brother who died at 25 years in 1988, my sister who died at 37 years in 1999, my Dad who died at 63 years in 2001 and my Mum who died in January this year. I also miss my husband who I left 4 months ago. We were together 28 years until his PTSD won.
