Bill Killen, a friend of mine, and I did this one in acrylics. It is painted on wood. He added the flowers for me at my request, because my hands suffer from neuroapathy now and I can no long paint detail. It is hard to hold on to the smaller brushes....

Here is an oil on canvas that I finished for my mom the day before she died. She never did see it. It's not perfect and I'm not sure you can really tell that waves are hitting rocks with the photograph of it, but that is what it is.

Mom liked the rocks by the shoreline and moonlight.

Husband has it hanging in his office.

I also do photography and photoshop. When my grandma died I took pictures of her things that I liked(that I knew weren't going to me or my mom) and made art from them. It was a way to have them without really having them. That was definitely good enough for me.

If I find them, I'll share them.

This is fantastic and how did you do it?

The wolves were hand drawn (pencil) then scanned and modified into photoshop brushes. From there I digitally painted the moon (craters were a pain) and used the newly created brushes to place the wolves in negative relief into the image.

There's a ton of great browsing on this thread, isn't there? I came to browse last night, just for pleasure- it was like walking through a nice exhibit, had a blast!! Finally logged in, left some and added the food only because the keyboard has flour on it. Trying to fit the baking in on top of all the busy-ness, ha!! My Gingerbreadmen might get arrested this year for being under-dressed in public.

My Mom's a knitter- LOVE watching them! They can talk and converse and keep track of all that while turning out this stuff too. Ridiculous. She tried to teach all of us. I can KNIT, as in pendantically, can't do that stuff! Cool as heck, hope you share more of that please?
