At The Movie Theater

'Life of Pi' really is an amazing book and I saw part of a making-off. I think it's really worth the try. Maybe it's better to go during daytime, if possible. Sometimes helps me when crowds, especially full-blown teenagers, go to see movies at night and drive me nuts.

I saw The Hobbit on Friday.

It was an excellent movie even if Peter Jackson is dragging it over 3 films. I love Tolkein and enjoyed every minute of it.

My h and I are going to see Les Miserables when that comes out. I have seen the theatre production and cried like a baby. Such a moving story.

Saw that as a musical when I was 16 in Canada. Very impressive and moving story, you said it. :)

Glad you enjoyed 'The Hobbit'! It's going to be three films?? Geez...

I can't go to the cinema anymore as I can't concentrate for the length of a movie. So I wait and see them on DVD - can take as many breaks as I need, especially if there is something in the movie that makes me anxious.

But I am looking forward to the Hobbit, although am a bit disappointed that it will be aver 3 movies........

On DVD saw Hope Springs with Tommy Lee Jones and Meryl Streep. It was a really good movie. Must have been a sleeper but even my husband enjoyed it.

I saw Parental Guidance yesterday, very very funny!!! I could relate to so much of it.

On TV I watched The Princess Diaries followed by 102 Dalmatians, something easy to watch. I have taped On the Town and Singing in the Rain too as I love those old, innocent films.
