Back Into Hospital Today !!

This morning I missed a call from my GP Doctor. Rather an important one at that as well !!!


My blood tests are back and my hemoglobin count has dropped dangerously low to below 10, it is currently located at 8.9 and dropping...... The doctors are going to perform further tests on my HB levels, but can confirm that I AM bleeding internally and they must investigate urgently. They have diagnosed me as anemic already but need to locate the site of my internal bleeding. If the can locate it, they will drain any hemato and seal any tears in my stomach lining.

The doctors have admitted that the high doses of certain medication I am prescribed have definably been a contributory factor to my stomach bleeding.

I am due in endoscopy for 1430 and my local Vicar will take me an bring me home afterwards, only if they discover no further action required, if thy need to perform surgery then I could be in hospital for a long time...............................................

I've had a perforated ulcer which is no fun at all. Peritonitis sucks. Wishing you good results and intervention before that happens.

When my appendix burst at the age of eighteen I genuinely though I was going to die that day, the pains in my stomach and abdomen have been ten times worse these last few weeks.
A very close friend is going to take me to Hospital and take me home afterwards, I will have to be fully sedated throughout the procedure aw being a rape victim I am phobic about any procedure relating to shoving a bloody great big long tube back my throat or at worst up my anus........ I have a tendency to kick off BIG time.

I will update this thread and members after the procedure is complete in n few hours time .

Don't let them delay in giving you I.V. iron. Hopefully, the stuff they make you drink for an endoscopy is better tasting over there than it is in the U.S. that is really the worst part. :sick::yuck::sick:

They put me under for mine as I stressed the PTSD, so it can be done.

If endoscopy and colonoscopy happen to be negative an abdominal CT to rule out liver varices will be important. I probably don't need to mention that because they will fix this. You will make it man. I saw something much more complex before. It really seems like internal bleeding for sure and they are very good at finding and treating that!.
I just wanna ensure you. I am not minimizing the significance.
