You are so welcome! I think the growth spurt of the chicks is huge! I cannot believe how fast they are growing. you are most welcome.

The mother and the babies are all huddled together sleeping. I am just mezmerized.

At first look I thought one of the chicks was gone. But they are both their. The facial features are more defined and their feet have grown bigger. Their changing feathers are more detailed now. They are really in a growth spurt right now.

The chicks have tail feathers now! They were both sleeping and the mother flew into the nest and left a fish for them to eat so they are now eating on their own. i used to work at a animal rehab and I loved the red tailed hawks that they revivied and released them back into the wild. I had such fun their with such a variety of animals and birds. I guess that is why I am so jazzed about the eagles and the chicks.

I am actually watching the vulnerable baby chicks transforming so fast. Their daily growth is amazing. I think that they each have their own spot in the nest.

I am so amazed at watching this and the bigger chick is now staying awake more than the smaller one. Their features are now more defined into the eagles I hope that they make it to adulthood.

I know what you mean @Saelben it is so very peaceful and wonderful to be a part of this thread. Like a once in lifetime experience with real nature. I also notice that the nest is now being cluttered with the leavings and bones.
