I don't know how many times I have hoped and prayed that I could get back with my ex, for real, millions.
I just think it is important for those people in a similar situation to realise what they hope and pray for!
Trust me, there are no miracles, you are dealing with a different person, a TOTALLY different person. From my experience PTSD changes someone forever, and as 'carers' or 'supporters' (I dont class myself as either btw) you have to be prepared to know that this will never be the way it was.
Please, please, please don't lie to yourself, you are starting from scratch, this is not the same as it was and never will be, if you can't cope, please don't hurt someone with PTSD or yourself by thinking you can, make the decision and stick with it.
