Alright so lets take a little time trip back real quick and start where the first report of Bin Laden being killed surfaced. The news put out an image that was later proven to be a photoshop job of Bin Laden's head. Then they came out after saying the photo was fake and stated that his body was dumped into the ocean in order to Honor their cultural burial belief's... which is bullshit. They bury their dead in the ground with in 24 hours and usually cover it with rocks.

Okay so now there is an article by a Seal Team Six seal who was there on that raid that epic day saying he was the one who put two shots into his head. And then claims that the reason the photo's were never released was because he and the rest of his team dumped over 100 rounds into his body... Now to me that sounds like a cover up. Mutilate the body till its unidentifiable then dump it into the ocean... "WE GOT HIM."

I just can't buy this story what so ever. Any one else have any opinions on the matter?
Here's the latest article:

I could believe it. It's like the video from forever ago of the soldiers pissing on the dead bodies of some terrorists. Of course they are going to want to get some revenge so even though he was already dead I wouldn't doubt putting some rounds into his body to get that satisfaction of putting some rounds into his dead body.

Yea but why will they NOT release the proof? No proof, didn't happen.
We've seen all the other's from Iraq, Saddam's sons after being bunker busted.
But no we can't see Osama? It's bogus.

I have read that after the first guy shot 3 times (and it is 3), another SEAL saw that he was reflexing. You have seen it. Like a snake that never dies. So he pumped some rounds into him.
They took pictures and took DNA to compare with relatives they knew and it proved the body belonged to Osama. Those at the house, wives and children, identified him as UBL.

God article here: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/may/02/sea-burial-osama-bin-laden

In terms of the basic requirements for Muslim burials, standard practice involves placing the body in a grave with the head pointed toward the holy city of Mecca. Burial at sea is rare in Islam, though Muslim websites say it is permitted in certain circumstances. One is during a long voyage where the body may decompose and pose a health hazard to a ship's passengers, an exception noted on Monday by Tunisian scholar Ahmed al-Gharbi. Another is if there is a risk of enemies digging up a and grave and exhuming or mutilating the body.

Ah, thanks Viking. Didn't know that about the burial at sea.

I think for most of us, skepticism is based on our own experiences, where we do one thing in the military, then read a whole different story in the papers about what we were just involved in. The two are often vastly different accounts, sometimes the same, but often the news is sensationalised and/or they were fed total BS compared to what actually happened.

I've seen it both ways... and even when they were fed total BS, there was nothing necessarily bad happening that we were doing or involved in, more just the military deemed they didn't want the public knowing everything we actually do.

I don't think we'll ever know. Seals are highly trained, highly disciplined. I don't really believe any seal member would recklessly begin unloading into a body, regardless how bad they are. Goes against every fibre of their training -- finding and killing someone does not mean you're free and clear of the danger yet. Every bit of ammo is important, and they know it more than most.

He could be locked in a hole and slowly having every bit of info extracted from him -- he could be buried anywhere -- very few would know the actual truth. All we have is the news -- return to experienced skepticism, is the report factual or not.

Yea I mean from the Russian/Afghan war he was an asset by our own government. Some people believe he died on dialysis in a cave somewhere.
Never know for sure and it's very odd considering he was the so called master mind behind 9-11.
To me the news of his death seemed like a tactical public release in order to give a false sense of victory in a losing battle in Afghan.
Matter of fact I think I've just come full circle again damn it. Got the feeling of deja vu probably bitched about this a few years ago...

I have little doubt UBL is dead. We all knew he was in Pakistan.

He wasn't dumped in the ocean to honour Muslim beliefs. It was just the opposite. No body means no memorial, no martyrdom, no place for fellow terrorists to worship him.

I spent a long time looking for him. I'm satisfied he's dead.

I think the article I quoted points out that he was put to sea for more reasons than religious.

And a lot of the testimony in the article are quotes I have heard from the SEAL's themselves in interviews, especially Rob McNeil. I was special ops too and the lies in Vietnam compare. We heard that Uncle Ho was killed by our special forces. I knew guys that planned assassination teams to kill him, and they wished it were true.

To this day, I am not supposed to reveal that we were actually in Laos and Cambodia. But it's all over the news.

wag the dog. he is laughing somewhere at the corp world political machine rec a very healthy check probably from GE. Was here in vegas when 911 took place. Is funny how many training names from 30 years ago become today's terrorists. Deception run a muck. By the way the military contracts that were to cancel quadrupled after 911. Operators do what they are told for god and country and also say what they are told to say. Been there done that. The old man bush said the patriot act would never was passed since jfk said no would pass unless we were attacked at home. read the fine print the people finally under little bush after 911 voted away our constitutional rights. Now the authority to use military personnel at home on our own people is legal.

No wag the dog here. Rob has received a lot of criticism for coming out and his reasons are noble. Another SEAL named Matt Bissonnette claims he was the first shot into UBL but two other SEALS say when Rob shot him he was alive and well. It is Matt who seems to want the publicity.

Need to say that Rob is not the hero of the UBL killing. It was the sum of a lot of hard days and nights chasing him down by people who live in the abstract. It is guys like Team 6 that do not. Rob says it was a standard mission tactic. His shooting he said he had done many times before. Two in the head and one in the chest. He says the real hero to him was the point man who went first into the room and covered two women who might have had explosive packs. Rob says he was the man that put his life on the line.

Straight testimony. There are many such interviews, all of them saying much the same thing. BTW, Bissionnette wrote a book under a pseudonym and had to turn $6.8 to the government for revealing many secrets of the raid. O’Neill has done nothing other than answer questions before reporters and a live TV camera, although there are book deals I am sure he is considering. A lot of guys are jealous about him, mad at him, and curse that he even talked about the raid. But so far not one SEAL (other than Bissionnette) has disagreed. In fact, many on the raid, thanked him.

SEALS, despite their reputation, are human beings. They say none of them have had PTSD but Chris Kyle definitely did and admitted it. They are not perfect, nor is the US government. But the head of the CIA at the time talks rather openly about it because the story needed to be told without revealing a lot of our secrets, on camera where he can be sued or fired or in certain situations jailed.

Alright, maybe they got him. I think its just a matter of not even providing a photograph to prove it that bothers me.
I was cannon fodder for the minefields. However, I'm glad others like PlatDaddy know what's up about 911 in general.
Because many rich men benefited in that controlled demolition. It's unbelievable how many people still refuse to see or even go back
and they'd rather forget about it. The whole premise for this long drawn out war...

4 thousand plus of our own people killed in a sinister plan by those who run the circus.
I don't think I could ever get over that. An till the day that I die I will hold that as truth.
Nobody else benefited.
