Oops. I just realised I haven't updated the monthly book. Please can we stay with the Life of Pi for August and pick up the next book in September?

I so need to get back into a good book... I've been sitting on a more recent Clive Cussler for near a month now, just too much else going on. I love reading...

I'm reading a Jilly Cooper novel at the moment which was slow to start but is now in full swing (and I think swing is the operative word)!

She writes with such humour with real gritty characters - I'm loving it.

25th wedding anniversary today and H has promised me a Kindle!! I can't have it yet because the boiler needs fixing and we have to buy a new vacuum but I can't wait!

Finally in the mood for reading again. I normally love reading. Usually the coffee table has a bunch of open books that I will read randomly during the day. But for months I just couldn't sit down with a new book.

I will be looking in the buying or borrowing "To find a Mountain" tomorrow. We have Amazon prime so I can get it for free.

I am excited about The Help being October's read because I already own it but have never read it so I will be able to participate. It looks good.

My husband loves Audible

My Hubby does as well. He listens to a book before going to sleep. I listen to books in the car and when I need to relax. I lie back in my laz-i-boy and close my eyes and listen.

14 days until the next book and I am thinking of reading Jane Eyre. Charlotte Bronte sister, Anne also had a popular book that I have never read or heard of until I was checking out Goodreads for something to read. I am thinking of reading it.
