The first few times I went were disastrous. I fell over constantly and did things like wear my ski trousers back to front, kicked a ski off while I was on the lift, and once even managed to sit down on my skis and head straight through someone's legs - getting stuck, inevitably.

OMG this was too funny Hashi! Thanks for the laughs! :hilarious::roflmao:

I created a Native American type staff (or walking stick if you prefer)...it is capped with a crystal point and bedecked with feathers that were gifted to me by N.A. friends, It also has rabbit fur, a fox tail, 3 medicine bags, and sports a handmade bone knife (in a leather sheath) for collecting herbs.

Lionheart - this is really cool. You are the first person I know that creates NA designs! I love their small purses! (hint hint)

I enjoy collecting books which I purchase at fantastic deals from yard sales. More then I enjoy reading them. Also, I enjoy shoveling snow, mine or I'd enjoy shoveling yours. Just shoveling it, cleaning and clearing away; Making life easier.

Plus, I enjoy scrabble, trivia games which I facilitate but do not need to know the answers too myself, in fact I enjoy and do well facilitating many different things.

I love talking to our dog, giving him a massage and scratching underneath his collar for him as these are things he can't do for himself. (smiles)

Planning and landscape design, planting, gardening and the works that goes with all that peace, I most enjoy above lots.

Will need to return to this thread to add more as right now I am getting too tired to complete this post.

Oh' first I must add, mowing lawn, raking leaves and again lawn and garden and so much so that I'd be thrilled to be asked to take care of other people's yards for them, whether they could afford to pay me or not.

There is things I use to enjoy and still would but for whatever reasons don't do any longer and/or as much; Swimming is the big one here.

 You know it. And, I love every bit of it. I like digging up the earth and planting trees and shrubs. Struggling to accomplish large jobs. Arranging shrubs, plants and flowers meticulously and then keeping them fed and in bloom. Good soil and mulch, rocks and lawns which have just been mowed.

Everything, just everything about it all! And, when the sun is out and the temperture is just right, well then that a bonus.

Hot yoga and acupuncture when I have the money. Otherwise I enjoy biking, jogging, reading, cooking, playing in the snow like a little kid (of which we have plenty at the moment), gardening, going to farmers markets, going to an isolated beach to listen to the waves crash. I collect coupons and scope out deals so that my money goes further. I love grooming my dogs - I bathe them, clean their ears, trim their fur and toenails when needed, teach them tricks and commands. I make my own dog biscuits which I made from a recipe that I created on my own with really simple ingredients. I cook things like squash and sweet potatoes for my dogs so that they have moisture content in their meals. I volunteer at the dog shelter and foster dogs and hamsters. I love putting clean sheets on my bed and hanging up laundry in my room to dry to help it smell fresh.

I enjoy photographing things, tweeking the photos with my software and then posting them here in the section I started in the Chit Chat section: Photographs To Cheer Your Day!

It is often too cold out to go out and do the groundwork now, so I tweek older photos I have and post them. I also share them on Facebook, etc.

I enjoy being on the forum and taking pictures and going out for frappes and take out and doing things with my husband and my daughter and the girls.
