my FIRST day in country I seen it rain mud LOL. MAJOR dust storm followed by rain.. IT WAS GREAT!

CGF, just saw the pick, I lost this post somehow. The crazy part is it is even twice as bad as it looks in the photo! And the photo looks bad! Tried taking pics in a dust storm and it killed my lens. Sand in the gears.

We would have left the wire in that. Honestly in many ways it was safer. Most of the IEDs we hit where not pressure plate so if the enemy couldn't c us we had less to worry about.

CGF, Jimmy & I were at Victory, actually Slayer, but I got caught up in a rocket attack at the Liberty PX. Convoys to the Green Zone were lovely adventures as well.
