Cant sleep - Place to visit when you're up late.

You know what @Lilac98, the more you worry the less you sleep. Find something to do. Read a book, listen to music, stream a show you like.

Theres lots of helpful stuff to read. Learn about grounding and stress cup. Those two things are endlessly helpful.

Grounding doesn’t help me even o.ooooooooooo1% with my ADHD.

In point of fact, it not only makes anything in ADHD-land worse, but I have to actively account for my ADHD weighing in if I’m grounding for PTSD/Anxiety/etc.

Comorbid disorders do that. 1+1=3. You have the individual disorders themselves, and then you have a third thing where the disorders are blending / playing off of / creating feedback loops / accentuating / &or / minimising.

When I’m meeting both of my comorbid disorders? I have to take the baseline that is my ADHD… and adapt it. Meaning I have to play with adrenaline levels (oomph! Hell yes!), or my hyperfocus (which is basically a type of disassociation), or my sensory issues.

A place to start finding grounding techniques that work for you, and play well with your autism? Stimming.
