Cbd oil?

Anyone try this for PTSD symptoms like anxiety and depression?

I suffer from both rheumatoid arthritis and eosiniphilic esophagitis, and my doctor recently put me on a diet for histamine intolerance. I have food allergy issues, and foods high in histamine seemed to do the most damage to me. I eat whatever I want usually, but I really need to start watching what I eat because I've already had 4 surgeries in 2 years, and it's been getting more and more difficult to move in the mornings with the arthritis.

But she also said it might not hurt to try CBD oil because there's been a lot of positive stuff out there for both my arthritis and EoE, and it might help my anxiety and panic attacks too since I don't like anti-anxiety meds. I've done a ton of research on the stuff, and ordered some premium quality stuff and hope to start using it this week.

Does anyone have any experience with CBD oil? Does it help? I'm going back to college in the fall after like 20 years, so I'm hoping it gets my anxiety in check. Or it could do absolutely nothing.

Just heard about this yesterday. Saw a lot of positive ifo and youtube vids. Very interested in hearing what others have to say. Thanks for the thread!

I live in a US State where medical marijuana is legal so I do use many CBD products. The CBD tincture I use is a 1 to 1 ratio meaning 300mg THC/300mg CBD. I do find it effective and when placed under the tongue quick acting. I have had similar success with CBD only tincture if the oil has a high enough CBD count.

Hope it works for you. Crossing fingers...

I went with a no THC formula, mainly because marijuana is still illegal where I live, and I don't use it at all anyway. I want to avoid any kind of psychotropic effects. After doing a ton of research, I went with a highly recommended brand that is full spectrum CBD but without the THC. Full spectrum is supposed to be better for inflammation, which I have the worst issues with. The tincture said to use a full dropper under the tongue, but I started with 1/2 to be on the safe side. If I can use this to manage my social phobia and panic attacks, I'll be happy with that. But if it can help with the arthritis and EoE, even better!

Yes. I'm looking into getting a medical card for it.
I've tried it a couple times, and it takes away the pain from my PCOS and my anxiety. THC makes me anxious, but the straight CBD oil does the opposite.

I'v been using the non THC CBD oil since Tuesday. I researched a bunch of brands, and went with a premium CBD full spectrum blend. It's not a miracle cure, but I'm very sensitive to medications so it was worth a try. So far, so good. My arthritis has been noticeably better. Instead of feeling like I'm wrapped in rubber bands and can't move, I have a bit better mobility and am not as stiff, especially in the morning when I take the first dose. I feel kind of warm and relaxed after taking it. The constant nausea I get from my EoE is almost completely gone while taking CBD too, and that is really good. If anything the anti-nausea effect will be the main reason I continue taking it.

The anxiety is already a huge difference. Usually I go somewhere, and start to look for the exits in case I have a panic attack and need to flee. I get really dizzy in some situations. I went to take a test for college on Saturday, and was pretty calm, instead of being a nervous wreck. I've been able to drive without gripping my steering wheel in fear like I usually do.

My husband tried some of it and is now using it too. We're buying a few more bottles this week.

It's been about a month since I started using the non-THC, full spectrum CBD oil. I've noticed it has definitely helped with my social anxiety. Before I go anywhere, I'll take a dropper full, and I still have anxiety, but it's dull enough to deal with. My anxiety is usually pretty bad when I have to go out of my comfort zone of my house. To the point where I get really nauseous and generally want to flee and go directly home. I'm trying to get rid of this urge all together, and the CBD oil takes care of the nausea, and dulls the panic mode so I can think clearly.

But the best result I've had is it has helped my auto-immune disorders immensely. My arthritis isn't so bad, I haven't had a single EoE flare up since I started taking it (I usually struggle with flare ups and can't swallow), and the digestive issues are pretty much gone. That's enough for me to keep using it.

I suffer from both rheumatoid arthrit...
I tried it for a while and it didn't do a thing for me. Going onto a low-lectin diet helped a lot and I see that you suffer from arthritis, so you would be a good candidate for lectin sensitivity. Dr. Gundry has a book out, "The Plant Paradox", and Joe Cohen from selfhacked.com has a lot of info on how lectins increase PTSD/anxiety/depressive symptoms.

I was using it for a while, and I loved it. I did notice a big change in my social anxiety, and my stomach issues related to my eosiniphilic esophagitis got better. I was using the same brand for a while, but tried the one that I hear advertised about a lot, CW, but I didn't like it as much. You almost needed to take more of that one, and it was more expensive than the Elevate brand I had been using.

I had to stop though, because I found out I was pregnant, and there's not enough research out there for me to feel ok about taking it. I was told in March by a fertility specialist that I had been seeing for 3 years that I couldn't get pregnant again. Sure enough, got pregnant 6 months later and I kinda wonder if the CBD oil helped with the inflammation to make it happen.
