CBT is a psychotherapy, it's called TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) vs CBT which is a general therapy technique for counselling.
As I said on your other thread strongernow, I forget things like this too. I think it can be a combination of concentration problems, dissociation and being very distracted. Annoying I know.
