@gmoe240 I have bee using it for basically three weeks now. I still remember my dreams each night and the ones that would cause issue are very mundane. I had one that was very blood and gore that would have woken me up and caused the next day to be shit, but I just let the dream happen like I was watching a TV. In fact I was so complacent with the dream I became a little worried that it was a negative instead of a positive. After discussion with my Therapist, they believe it is part of the healing process.
Does it work or am I feeling a placebo effect? I don't know and right now I really don't care. The feeling of it on the ears is a little different, but currently zero negative affect. I sleep, I wake up to urinate, I sleep. It seems as though I have stretched time and the night has became longer, and the sleep seems to be better and more relaxing. The only side effect so far is increased weight loss. I was trying to lose weight before this and the weight seems to becoming off easier now, losing 2 to 3 lbs. a week versus the 1/2 lbs as before. Makes sense if I'm getting better sleep, also I could have passed a plateau.
I am always very skeptical of any new item or drug. Even if it has a long hx of working. I was raised by a scientist and this is how I approach medicine. Medicine is still an art not an exact science, that frustrates me.....
The down side for me is that for now on I cannot say if the CES is working or the medicine. They changed my meds and that increases the variables. Not good for a true report on how the device works.
With a subject of one, it is kind of harder to get any real data. If/when you get it, let us know how you do with it.
