Hey y'all!

Check this out!!

The Courier-Journal (Louisville, KY) near where I live just came out with this story.

courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081006/NEWS01/810060402

There's two events in Louisville sponsered by the local National Alliance on Mental Illness for Mental Health Awareness Week.

Today [Oct 6] Jefferson Circuit Judge Susan Gibson and James T.R. Jones, a professor at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, will speak at 7:30 p.m. at Actors Theatre in Louisville, 316 W. Main St.

The event will be preceded by a reception at 5 p.m., and an art show featuring works by clients of Bridgehaven and Wellspring, two local, nonprofit mental health agencies.

On Oct. 26, Elyn Saks, a law professor at the University of Southern California and author of "The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness," will speak at 7:30 p.m. at U of L's Strickler Hall on the Belknap Campus.

Both events are free and open to the public, but reservations are recommended to ensure seating. For reservations, call the Louisville NAMI office at (502) 245-5287.
I don't know if it's because I just came into awareness about PTSD or what, but this is the first time I've seen an article publicizing the need for Mental Health awareness in my area.

PS I did the copy/paste thing from notepad but it's still showing up as a live link. What did I do wrong??

Type the web address in without the www. Then highlight the address and select the icon with the red cross on it - above the box you type in, 9th symbol from the left. That will remove the live link.

Thanks Nicolette

I don't usually post any kind of link. I'll do my best to remember!
