I have recently become the proud owner of a Samsung Chromebook, a gift from my sister, and I love it!
It has a few pro's and Con's
Pro's
I am having a few problems with it however and wonder if anyone can help.
Firstly, because games are played on-line I can't seem to save them. You can download off-line versions but I tried this with Angry Birds but still can't find a way to save levels. Does anyone know how?
Secondary, It has a webcam etc but I don't know if you can connect to skype. I have friends on skype but I don't know how to get it working on the Chromebook or even if it will. Anyone know?
All help appreciated.
Hugs,
CC

- I love how cute it is, how small and light.
- It boots up in 8 seconds!
- Connectivity is fast.
- 8 hour battery life!
- Lots of free aps.
- Stores everything in the Cloud.
- Comes with free, automatic virus protection.
- Updates itself so no need to install updates.
- It has a Linux OS and comes with their version of office.
- Great screen resolution.
- USB's, SD card slot etc.
- It's fun!
- You have to use a Google Mail account to log on (easily sorted).
- There is no proper instruction manual, just a quick start guide.
- It uses Cloud and although this is a great idea and docs are compatible with Microsoft etc, if you need extra storage space you have to pay monthly for it.
