Hi All

I'm back after a bit of a break. And I am pleased to say that I am off my medication! It's hasn't been smooth sailing and is still very difficult, but I have done it!

I am now only taking herbal remedies and feel much better for it. I withdraw from my prescription meds a bit at a time, each withdrawal was like going to hell and back, but I feel like I am through the worst of it now.

I am excising madly and feel fitter than I have in a long time, I'm convinced this has had a huge effect on keeping me sane. I have also lost some dreaded (medication) weight, but still have a long way to go!

And to top it off I have cut down my alcohol intake. It's still a daily thing, but the quantities have dropped.

Welcome back Clydiechick! Hey good for you going off your meds! I went off mine earlier this year...the anxiety withdrawals were hell, but now I am med free except for an anti-inflammatory! YAY!

I think the exercise helps tremendously too. It produces the "feel good" chemicals our brains need.

Love your avatar ;o) Are they Clydesdales?

Hi and thanks!

Yes they are Clydies, I breed them and Shires, just love them, they are my 'happiness outlet'. The one in the pic is a from a Clydie mum and Shire dad, she's a beauty!

Congrats getting off your meds too, amazing how bad those withdrawals are, I never want to go through that again. I am only on painkillers and anti inflammatory too, aside the sleeping pills :)

Do you have horses?
