This article goes into a number of consequences of climate change and their links to PTSD and other issues. Flooding, drought, heat-related aggression, forced migration, and other human responses to natural disasters linked to climate change are covered, with real examples. The examples are from developed countries, and it does mention that consequences for people with fewer resources may be far worse.

There is a lot in this article, but I don't want to paste too much per the guidelines! --Greenleaf

Well, it is about time that researchers finally delve more into such matters. When green spaces shrink around us, noise and light pollution increases and world conflicts are on the rise it affects us negatively.

I always react to drastic changes in the world. It affects me deeply to see the suffering of innocent people, affects me deeply when animals are destroyed, when criminals go unpunished.... the list goes on and on.

Why would anyone think that does not affect us physically? Of course it does. I know one thing: when I get really intense triggers I go on menstruation (and I am in menopause!!!!). When I have to fight negative memories related to my trauma my BP sky rockets, my immune system fails.

They need to do a whole lot more research. Everything that happens in our brains affects the rest of our bodies...
