Yes, I worried too, at first. I was teaching high school at the time and worried someone would come out at work, even while I was lecturing.
What I did: Just before entering the classroom, I'd instruct my kid alters (the ones who were coming out most) and say kindly but firmly, "Now, I must teach a class. This classroom is not a place for children. Please go in your (internal) room and play with your toys. I'll let you know when it's safe for you to come back out. Later, when we go home, you can come out and have some fun. Maybe we'll stop for ice cream on the way home."
