Colorful and hopefully optimistic but maybe hateful occasionally

Y'all wanna see a picture though? Hang on, I'll get my phone

Then talk about something more pleasant. It really is good food I made though so that cheered me up

Soda Crystals are good for grease, pour some in water and soak the thing for a few hours or overnight x
Perfect!!! Thanks!!

It’ll probably need overnight and some scrubs. I asked my mom when it was cleaned last and she said she didn’t know it was supposed to be cleaned, haha:

Here’s my over mitt, it made it!

My mom’s looks like it might be okay after a wash?

It's very cute :D
Thank you!!

And I will try hot water and a very thorough scrub. I bet the inside of the vent will need a little help too, so maybe hot water for that. :)

Okay, so, more fun thing!

This is Kichi. She’s a normal cat, but I don’t know much about her personality yet. Besides, “shy but loves to be loved,” which I understood from hanging out with her (with Nestle, and they are getting along).

The reason I don’t know much about her yet is because my sister tells me way more about Taz. She told me when he had his first move, he hid in the litter box for three days straight. She doubts he got any food or water, but it’s hard to know. I think his Valium will help a lot with that. And the fact that he’s now okay with Nestle sniffing him. Hopefully I can get him to pick a “safe space” that isn’t a litter box, but I won’t force him if he doesn’t want to. I think he’ll be okay after a week or so, based on what my sister says about him. He might panic, though, and I need to take him to a vet, so I might try to teach him that car rides are safe or something? We’ll see!

Thinking of you in a hoarder house with a fire made me crazy. Oh hun you have got to get out of there.
And have I mentioned how proud I am of you for getting your license??? It's going to open up a whole new world for you and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Metal bugs and animal oven mitts?!?
You really are the best
Thank you!!

...and... you have no idea how extra I am :roflmao: Everything I have is personalized to some degree! I love decorating! Lol

That’s why I’m known around town as “cow hat” (or “woman with service dog” but you know). My hats are shaped like animals. The cow hat has a snout, ears, and horns :) The penguin has a beak and flippers. The panda has ears and a nose :D

One day I’ll get the reindeer one! I’ve had my eye on it for years... these women from Nepal handmade them with wool yarn!!

Do you mind if I ask if you were able to get your bedroom window open in case of fire?
Oh, man, I should have warned you about the content D: Don’t worry, it was a tiny thing. The only reason I was so concerned was because of the amount of grease I saw in the exhaust vent. If it hadn’t been for that, I could have left the heat source off and waited a second. I was just afraid of the grease.

But anyway, no, my window exists but my father broke it to make getting out impossible. Since we talked about it, though, I broke off a glass pane on the inside of the window, between the main window and the screen. I was thinking that in case of an emergency, it’s the lowest window to the ground, and now I can remove the broken pane and then kick the screen out. It probably will tear before it breaks, as it looks like my dad nailed the screen in place and added sharp metals, but it’s better than nothing.

The back door is an option, and it’s down some stairs but nearest the kitchen. Front door is down the hall. The screen door has been blocked for over ten years, but if I jumped to the table it might happen, if nothing is blocking the door’s opening path.

Feel free to stop reading any time! But my dad was terrified of everything, and one of those was fires, so he had these flyers he made once for how to escape outside in the event of one. I still have some of his stuff from with smoke stains from his childhood, involving that. So. I figured I could just find that flyer and adapt it to the condition of the house.

I would attempt to rescue pets, though, which worries me. And my mom can’t move well so that would be problematic. I’ve had a couple nightmares of having to chose between her and Nestle and my family yelling at me from both angles while I decide... But I think I’ve figured it out. Not who I’d save. But how I personally would get out.

This is an upsetting topic... sorry :/ :hug:

Oh man, that kind of made me want to say once again it was no big deal. But I just realized I’m worried about my mom reading this and telling me to stop exaggerating in public. Because it might get her in trouble.

That was my middle school in a nutshell. I’d tell a teacher something about my dad, they’d call my mom, my mom would get upset with me and warn us that she could lose us to the state if we told the wrong people...

Hey, wait. Was it normal to her to have to do that? I’ve heard some wack stories about her parents, so I bet they did stuff like that. I hated my mom’s parents when they were alive. Weird people. Very weird.

Okay, not hatred though.

And have I mentioned how proud I am of you for getting your license??? It's going to open up a whole new world for you and I can't wait to see what happens next!
You did, but I’m really flattered that you feel it enough to say it again!!! I sort of assumed I’d never drive! AND NOW I CAN!!!

I’m estimating I’ll be ready to move out in 4-6 months. :):D

And speaking of which, guys, Nestle got fire spotting training and WILL memorize exists and drag people away.

She was taught that because of the concern that I might dissociate when hearing a fire alarm. She’s a little too good at it though. She even pulls me away from S'mores parties D: She’s a good dog. She can also smell smoke and say when she does. One time she told a rule enforcer in a place where candles were banned that she smelled a candle :p
