Comfortably numb? Great song by Pink Floyd. Most of the time I'm numb. And I'm not all that sure it's comfortable all the time. I know exactly what you're talking about though. Yes sometimes it does feel comfortable to be in my little bubble of numbness. Other times it just emphasizes everything I'm not feeling or doing. I'm starting to wonder if it's one of my triggers because, too much time alone like that and I end up a mess.
