Do you think, if someone throws a knife at you they are trying to kill you? Does it matter what type of knife?

IME/IMO It would depend on the person throwing the knife.

If they’re any good at throwing knives, then it would depend on where they were aiming.

If they suck at throwing knives, it would depend on their mental state.

The thing referred to as my mother threw a knife at me when I was a minor. I managed to dodge it but it stuck in the wall where I had been. That scared the shiiiittt out of me as a minor (I think I was mid teens.) She threw it at me deliberately in one of her (alleged) NPD rage attacks or maybe she has bipolar too and that caused her rage. Idk.

I didn’t do anything to deserve this and she threw a lot of shit at me. Big, heavy items, too.

No child ever possibly could… What she did was an absolute betrayal, as well as an utter failure of her duty of care to any child, much less one under her so-called protection.

It was never you. This is a reflection of her, never you.

She clearly had no care about consequences, your wellbeing whether that was your pyshciall or emotional safety. That must have been incredibly frightening to grow up with. Damaging on so many levels.
