I dont think you are wrong. I cant speak for any other country the Noway and Sweden. In general worklife has become pretty rough here. We seem to work on accord with short term contract that leaves it up to as us worker to perform 100 % all the time. If not boss will be on your neck bithcing about anything and everything.
Initially I thought this was all on me. I had read about it but that was pretty much it. Then I got employed according to the new rules in work life. Then I heard others speak about it. Ive seen people I know that got hired after finnishing school and that they dont seem pretty happy and we talked and its all about these short term contract and the pressure we are exposed to in work life according to the new work laws here.
Myself got 4 weeks in my current job to manage some very tough work task. The way the boss spoke to me resembal your boss. Like Im a smoker and at work its no smoking rules. Of coruse I smell like smoker. She literally came up close to me under some poor excuse and sniiffed me while whispering I knew it - you smoke!! Jeez - cant she atleast ask directly like a grown up do you smoke? Whats up with the whispering?
And yeah - I dont have any job there any more after this.
Seems to me that work life today if you are not privileged is about shut up and put up otherwise no work for you. Which Ive totally sucked at. I thoguth I was a worker and had the right to dignity but nope.
Most of all this is on the goverment. The politics they lay for work life. In Noway it means that the goverment is making new laws and its the productivity society that enable those that allready are rich but unfavor those that are not.
Not sure if any of this is something you can reckognice.
Sounds to me do that youve done your best and your boss doesnt know how to lead in a constructive way. If she did she would take responsiblity to talk in a rightful and constricutve manner.
