Dealing With "Count Your Blessings"

My T said to me on Friday that i need to count my blessings

I was thinking a punch in the nose might cure it, just kidding. I am sad about the ignorance and insensitivity. I think they are like Pollanna playing the glad game. It never ceases to amaze me. This has been a comforting thread to read.

I feel very validated and understood. It hurts like hell to hear things like that. That is why I no longer talk about it with people. They just do not get it. Until they walk in my shoes they will never understand.
