No, you know Therapy wasn't really a help it was just very brief once or twice an the majority of it was spent talking with the pill prescriber.
Who once he found out that I killed somebody said, "Well... that's never going away." So here's these pills lol. . And come to terms that I was in fact a killer.
I take it that you saw a psychiatrist and not a trauma therapist?!?!? They are very different. One basically prescribes pills, and the other helps you to process your trauma. The thing with trauma, is that suppressing it, only works for awhile. Working through the trauma and doing tons of work is the one way that you can come to terms with it. There are many other things within therapy that will help also. DBT, CBT, EMDR, coping skills, and many other things.
I'm an upfront no holes bar kind of person so I'll just ask. Did you kill in self defense?
