Relationship Did something stupid. afraid of accidentally outing my sufferer

Another thing I talked about is how he does not pick his own clothes, because he psychologically cannot do it. He is a very smart man, working in a responsible position... but I have to pick his clothes. He feels like he is unable to do it... and this is a subject of shame for him.

The internet is a really big place. What are the chances of someone who knows you in real life being on that board? And reading the post where you got the words mixed up? And jumping to the conclusion that you are the ONLY person who does that?

I have also worried about people identifying me from my posts, but it is SO very unlikely.

Most unfortunately I mixed up words who rarely ever get mixed up by anybody... and I did this before. I just did not know their proper meaning. I can tell you via pm if you want me to.

Does the board have moderators? I do not think that it is too likely that someone would be able to figure out who you are just from a misused word. If it is causing you distress, I do think that you should ask for a moderator to edit or delete your post. People accidentally post identifying information. I've actually seen people accidentally share their IP address not knowing that it can be used to find more information or include their full name or other identifying information in the background of a photograph.
