I've been doing some research on issues and disorders that are thought to occur more frequently among people who have PTSD. So, I'm posting this poll to see if others here have any of these issues, like me.

I checked the box 'make votes public'. Does this mean that everyone can see which choices a specific person made? Or does it just show how many votes each item got? If people want me to, I can redo this poll and make the votes private.

I voted on almost all of them :ninja:

Good poll. Doesn't feel good seeing my results but interesting, not surprising.

I have alot of stomach issues.....I use to have a eating disorder, but not anymore.....I stopped caring how I looked, so idk..........I told my Dr. I am scared to care about my weight, because I might start having an eating disorder again and he told me that it is just my worry.......................

I'm sorry about making the the votes public. Next time I'll know better.
I voted for Trichotillomania, Eating Disorder, Chronic Fatigue, Skin Picking and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. The hair pulling started when I was 14. I was diagnosed with Bulimia in 2000, but have had disordered eating since I was a little kid. The hair pulling and skin picking happen mostly when I am under unusual stress.

Oh yeah I had major body dysmorphic disorder when I first had PTSD when I was a teenager. Unfortunately my brain didn't want to look at what happened to me and the fact that I had PTSD, so I just hid behind my obsessive behavior and thinking with my looks. Now as an adult I don't have the BDD anymore. I do pick at my eyes and have twirled my hair for a long time.

Oh yeah, I have major stomach problems too which I think relate to anxiety, at least it makes it worse. But I don't have an eating disorder or conciously making myself sick.

I voted for irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue; (just my personal opinion, but I think long-term stress effects on my body is responsible for the disorders).
