I got one side of mine back to solid yellow. All the rest of it is still jumbled up. Now I am thinking that if I try to go for 2 sides, I will just mess this one side up irreversibly. LOL. I don't know what to do now. I know I can go and look at the video, but that seems like cheating. I have never looked at the video yet. I can't believe I actually solved this whole thing when I was a kid. It must have been by accident!

I had one but could never solve it. I eventually gave up and used it for fidgeting.

I could swear, owning a Rubik's Cube, is one reason for my PTSD! :confused::confused: I hated that thing!!!!!!!!! :p And I also strongly disliked the primary colors...no imagination when it came to a color scheme! Just saying'...

I feel for you, mine is driving me a bit batter these days. As to colors, he used white instead of purple, and he did use other 2 secondary colors. So there was maybe a touch of imagination. He was kind of a computer geek, so we need to cut him a bit of slack, ya know?

I must have had a made-in-China knock-off, thus the primary colors! No wonder it didn't work! :O_o:

Well, he did use all 3 primary colors too, but Orange and green and white also. Then too, the center has a logo on it. That is the new one. The original, I would have to research. Let me go look for it. My memory fails me after some 55 years!

OK, I found one on an online auction site, it says it is an original one, there is a photo. It has these same colors as the newer model that I bought this year. There is no date mentioned as to when it was purchased, but it looks well used! Its colors are:
Red, Blue, Yellow, White, Green, and Orange. I did not see a logo on it and I don't actually recall seeing one on my original one either, now that I think on it. Logos are a newer invention, I think.
