I find music the biggest help in the world, it has gotten me through alot of hard times. I don't particularly have a type of music that I like to listen to, I just listen to what ever takes my mood.
I do use it more to block out certain stuff. Like for example - when I am not wanting to go to work because I am feeling very anxious I find putting my music on and concentrate more on the music and that gets me from A to B with little fuss.
Sometimes I do listen to certain songs obsessively and cetain songs I can listen to will remind me of certain times in my life. This can be a bit of a downfall if I am wanting to listen to a certain song that reminds me of a bad time. I have lost the ability to listen to quiet a few songs due to that fact :doh:
