I need to vent for a moment.

I saw on CNN today the headline "Trump out" and my heart nearly skipped a beat. I initially thought that meant he was out of the race. Nope, just a debate. The Fox debate, because he doesn't like one of the moderators, Megan Kelly. He also ranted in his official press statement about current leaders being stupid and Fox having better ratings only because Trump is involved in debates now.

Trumps poll numbers are going up.

This cult of personality is really way out of hand. It's actually hard to even tell what his policies are. He is too busy being TRUMP.

He has actually said he will be different as a president than how he is now. And his poll numbers keep increasing. WTF? Come on America...

We will be a dictatorship in reality, if not in name, with Trump as president. Period. The freaky thing is that I think some people want a strong man to come in like a dictator and just fix everything. That NEVER turns out well.

I'm not a republican (or a democrat) but I am seriously thinking of volunteering for Ted Cruz just because he is the best chance right now to get Trump out of the picture ASAP. If Trump gets the nomination, I will volunteer for whoever gets the democratic nomination.

I despise the popularity of Trump. I despise all cults of personality, on any side of the isle. If Trump wins, I want to know I did my part to try and stop this nonsense.

He does not act like a grown adult, and yet that seems to be what some people like about him. Argh.

I wish a full Trump supporter would post, and help me understand better the attraction to him. I wish someone who fully supports Trump would post here how I am wrong, and prove to me that there is no cult of personality around Trump that is leading to people being blind to his faults or things that he does that are hurtful to people. Show me I am wrong. I want to be wrong.

Just saying, I can't recall any politician in my lifetime (or in what I know of many years before that) where SO MANY public figures, media outlets, other politicians, etc. are speaking out against what a horrible person this guy is. Yes, his poll numbers are (allegedly..) going up and up, but one way or another, this guy does not win. Yes, it is exposing finally to a lot of people just how bad an idea it is to pander for decades to the most base and craven aspects of disenfranchised people, and even when he is out of the race it leaves an ugly feeling about the state of the US, but then, I've been fed up for a while now just how much people were *not* getting that and thinking all is well in their safe echo-chamber pundit circles.

Right, he won't win. There is definitely a whole lot of being suckered by a narcissist who says a lot, and nothing at the same time. He doesn't want to deal with Megyn Kelly. He's a total narcissist bully who has no place in any public office. He can't deal with real issues. He avoids them and directs attention back at himself in distracting ways. He can't deal with people who are not "his people".

In other news, Obama is dealing with Iran. Thank you for that, sir.

Megyn Kelly kind of emerged as an unlikely hero of sorts in recent times. I'm not a big fan of FOX either. Didn't previously realize they allowed their anchors to actually have individual opinions.

Yikes!

Like most narcissists, as long as it serves their self interests, they will say they love each other, until they don't.

Trump has defended Putin over the case of Putin killing a Russian dissident in Britain. The courts in the UK deemed Putin to be responsible. Trump says people are lying. Because evidence is irrelevant? Putin also said Trump was an "absolute leader" and "brilliant." (Trump Defends Putin...)
