I took lyrica tonight for my fibromyalgia. I have chronic pain but have not been taken meds because the psychological stuff i have been going through has been blocking the physical pain, as i have been dealing with it, it has made my fibro flare.
the lyrica has also helped to keep anxiety down (it is now being prescribed for some for anxiety) tonight i noticed a Big difference in my thoughts and anxiety. however, i still have some trouble with reality on the meds, prolly cuz i feel so drugged.
i know now that i am a person that is going to NEED medicine, not forever, but to act as a helping aid as i heal...much like crutches are needed for someone who has broken their leg. it isn't forever, but it IS needed for healing.
