Easter Time Again - Any Plans?

I can't believe how fast this stuff comes around. Easter in a weeks time... OMG! My plans extend as far as continued new puppy training, and hopefully getting a full nights sleep again in a weeks time. Fingers crossed!

Are you going away for the holiday or have fun plans?

I plan to get sleep from puppy, and to keep training her. That is the extent of my plans for now. I'm pretty much trapped for the next 8 weeks until she can leave home and venture into the wild world on a leash.

I am Catholic so I am going to church Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Saturday night and Sunday. Boy it is exhausting. Also my church does a procession on Good Friday from one church to another. It is a 3 mile walk and because I have gained weight from meds I am nervous I might not make the full walk.

We are staying home with the kids. My fiance' has to work so no going to see his family. That involves a 5 hour drive (with a 5 year old and 19 month old) and then an overwhelming number of people, in both my kids' and my eyes, when we get there. I'm sort of glad we're staying home. I have plans to make something good to eat, make a mini egg hunt for the kiddos, maybe do some crafts with them as well, and in general just have some mom time away from school. I'll probably clean the house and do laundry too...because that ALWAYS needs to be done around here. ;)

I do not believe that much in commerciality to be honest but one plan I have is to sent a few £££ to my children for Easter as a surprise. Apart from that my day to day will be filled with much of the same old, same old.

Not religious here, but we always have a family meal and do the secular bunny thing. Even though the kids are teenagers I still do candy baskets for them, and sprinkle Raisinets on the floor by the baskets because they got up too early and "scared the bunny."

My vet can't appreciate the bunny poo joke, but he's all good with Santa getting beer and cookies because "he's lactose intolerant and has had way too much milk by the time he gets to our house." Picky picky.

Quote kind of from John Lennon~

Peeps and Easter...my family tradition! Have a great blessed Holiday-everyone!
