I have been suffering badly from endometriosis lately. 3 hospitalisations in 3 months from huge pelvic pain. I read a study recently that said women who were abused as children were something crazy like 75% more likely to have endometriosis.
At the moment it is making my mental health so difficult as I'm just stuck in bed so much of the time. I've been drawing a representation of it to try and keep me from losing my s#**...

the picture hasn't loaded for me, but I feel your pain. I've also been through sexual trauma starting at 8, and I have suspected endometriosis, fortunately I was able to get on a birth control that takes my 7/10 pain spells where I couldn't walk or move down to 3-4/10 with mobility. I don't bleed anymore, not since July, but still have months cramps. It went from 1-2 weeks of debilitating pain to 2ish days of moderate pain. I hope you can find something to help you!!

Thank you @Strangelongtrip . I am glad you have found something that works for you. I have just started on another new form of birth control to see if that helps. Kind of rotating through different things to see if any works and waiting on a specialist appointment. It's nice to know that it's possible to find something that works!

No, I don't @Rani G . I have just started taking Provera, but I just Googled Zafrilla and it sounds like it could be worth a try. Might have to ask my doc about it. Thanks very much.

Wishing you all the best Digz. I’m working in a gynecologist clinic that’s why I asked, we have many patients with endometriosis and a few of them are taking Zafrilla/visanne, as far as I know their condition is stable.

I had endo and fibroid tumors. I had them removed surgically, and the pain went away, but slowly came back. The only thing that helped was a hysterectomy for me.
