Father Calls Me Dumb

I just had a conversation with my father but it's something I want people to hear about. He called me dumb and says that my education isn't helping me. He told me "since you so smart let's do this right here" "put a 100 dollar bill out on the table and for each 100 dollar I want you to put one out on the table. He said "I have trucks, house, and everything I want, but you don't". He called me broke. He said he hate being around broke people because he dont trust them. He talks about all his friends with education. He said that "people with education is out here struggling and scuffling being dumb while is us 3rd grade drop out sitting back relaxing". he said "you can't have sense without money". he knows nothing about me. Meanwhile, he has a friend of 30 years who seemed to betray him. he says my education isn't shit. He says "I don't work, I don't do anything and I'm broke". He doesn't know anything, not a dime about me. Not once did he mention his dirty work. I can't wait until I leave.

Your father is a narcissistic animal abusing scumbag, and if I had to be like him to have money, I would rather be poor because I would still have my integrity. Don't get me wrong, education is everything, but it is so much more than being about money. My husband has 2 (fancy) degrees and it doesn't guarantee a decent paying job. Money is no indicator of having any sense. Not having the sense to provide proper shelter to a dog that isn't suited for cold weather is evidence of that.

I regret not getting a better education though and it has nothing to do with money, it is a social hindrance as well. That said, there is a reason many people with PTSD are awarded disability. I am so sorry your dad is such an abusive POS.

I don't feel bad for him because he thinks he knows everything in this world and the laws don't apply to them well it does. I constantly lie to him. My anxiety was picking up so I left it alone. he think he knows business so much that he thinks the laws don't know enough to catch him. this man makes 60,000 a year and getting food stamps when clearly he's not eligible. He thinks he can go around the place slick minded getting away with everything because of his money. he say he know enough about the law to stay out trouble, well he lied. he has made statements in the past that showed him as betrayal. all he talks about is his money. He say he hate being around broke people when they don't have 2 cents to spend. He thinks he is this big shot guy. I hate people who think just because you got education you stupid and can't think. I sat there and talk to him like he a complete idiot. He couldn't get insurance because he refused to report his income. I want to work for the FBI he called me fat. He said I'll never make it because of my weight

He's too greedy...when I took the cable box to the office last year to return it. He said he told them to cut the cable off. He sat from July to December with free cable. I said daddy why you ain't call to get the cable off? He said he told them to cut it off and I'm not about to climb the pole and cut it off either. I couldn't get internet to do my homework because he would get mad and tell me I couldn't get internet because he didn't want them messing with his cable. My whole family is toxic. When I get through this therapy I'm changing my phone number. Im out here in the country to avoid being triggered again. Im completely numb. Im out of society and by myself to remain calm.
