I'm practicing reframing and it has become my go-to emotional regulation practice. It takes me a few days to fully calm down and reflect on moments I get triggered. But i feel like reframing makes the process smoother. It has been helping me move past the dramatics of my emotions. I'm the kind of person that can handle really traumatic/big problems with calmness and patience but I have a habit lose my shit over little things. It's pretty cool to see results like that, I've been way less anxious recently and I think that's why. I would like to hear about others experiences with this technique or other practices that y'all may have found helpful.
