All you good users who have an eye for detail, could you please have a look at the new site for combat ptsd and tell me if you see anything wrong / anything jumps out at you from a design / functional viewpoint please?

You can only see what you can see as a guest. Hopefully you should get messages telling you you cannot see some things, basically, no ability as a guest to post, spam or hurt the forum.

All those lovely little things that individuals find... please feel free to respond here so I can fix anything I have missed.

Oh... and if there are any veterans here who want to help me test it out by signing up and posting, please feel free to respond here / new member area if a new member or PM me. I will arrange with you uniquely to get an account setup and running for you, privately.

Looking pretty cool so far sweetheart. Great logo and admin is a pretty hot looking dude

I just took a look and I like it quite a bit. I'm really glad that you have a whole forum devoted to "Anger" because that's just such a big part of PTSD. Thanks for what you're doing, it means a lot to a lot of people.

I hope I'm not being nit-picky or anything, but maybe tweak or add a description or something to the "Entitlements" section? I don't really know specifically how to say what I mean, but I'll just go with it so here goes. When I first started having issues with PTSD I didn't really know how exactly to get signed up with the Veteran's Affairs to get in their system, find a case worker, get assigned a therapist and actually start getting help. I just kind of showed up at the VA clinic (after a fellow vet told me I needed to get some help) and wandered around asking questions till someone told me where I needed to go and who I needed to talk to.

I hope it doesn't sound dumb, but I think most vets need instructions for how to get signed up for help. When I separated on my out-briefing they really didn't tell me anything about the VA. Especially how your DD214 form is your golden ticket, or that your benefits are way different if you were in combat.

The tricky thing though is that personally I don't want American soldiers to have things slanted their way on the combat ptsd forum, there are lots of soldiers out there from nations all across the world who have PTSD-I can't stand how so few Americans don't think about all the Brits and Australians out there who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan and been mentally damaged from the war(s), or all of the other Allied nations through the years. I don't know what the process is like for others outside the U.S., but if its anything like how it was with me no one really told me anything and it was all very confusing at first.

Maybe you already had that in mind for the forum so if you did just ignore all that I said lol. I hope that helps.

I like the drop-down menu in the upper right. It's an easy to navigate site, and I think the organization of the forums makes intuitive sense. On a totally shallow, personal opinion note, I dislike the font of "Combat PTSD" on the dog tags. It seems very playful, or childlike, or something, in contrast to the rest of the image.

Nice job!
