Feeling So Incredibly Alone

Canucklady,

Sorry that you had a bad weekend....You are right though about the working thing..I think sitting around the house would have really driven me more crazy when I was having a tough time. Even though it was awful going to work, it at least took my mind off of things. I am grateful that I had my job too.

I think we have times that going to the T is ok, and then there are the times that we can't wait to get there. I had those too.

I hope that you have a much better week.

Wendy

CL, this is normal. There is nothing you described that we haven't all felt. I will say you are looking for a fix to all things and symptoms at once. It simply won't happen like that. In time you will see you don't have to jump at every little thing, you can trust... You will see a light at the end of the tunnel but to do that you have to keep pounding away at the trauma. You do have to go through this pain to get their and at times it is worse than the original trauma. This forum is here for you as you do that.

Read this thread and the last one, re sometimes it is worse than the original trauma. Never thought anything could be worse, than the extreme
abuse/violence, effect, but yes when the PTSD kicked in it was and is worse
than the original trauma.

At first it is hard to understand what is happening to you, as you tend to think you left and now you will be okay...or on a road that way...the pain is immense and extreme, sometimes holding on is all you can do.

Found it is a pain you grow through as well....that teaches you so much...
felt like i was going crazy like yourself. Flashbacks, seeing things, had no memory off, locked in some time in the past, piecing the jigsaw together.
