Feeling suicidal

I can't keep my head clear and just have one suicidal thought after another. I won't act it is just annoying and I want it to stop

Distract yourself. Get away from where you are, go somewhere. Call a hotline... something to distract you. You're important. Don't follow through.

I put a DVD in and started playing a game. I am hoping that will help. I think I need to take a diazepam.
