I think some Psychs have shares in the chemical companies that make the meds. Some also seem to have thier own agenda that keeps us on large amounts of meds. I have learned the lesson. Now I talk to other people before I change anything to make sure it will benifit me and my needs.

Bullies and abusers can`t hide if they and thier deeds are spoken about.

If you haven't already, check out www.icarusproject.net. It's a bigger presence in the US, but also draws an audience from the UK.

In the US the reason why psychiatrists push some meds over others is because they are paid kickbacks by the drug companies. In the UK, Nice controls how medications are prescribed for the most part, which must cut out a lot of the problem here, but certainly not all of it.

Unfortunately (and very unethically) the drug companies have also historically sponsored most of the research that comes out on these meds and that is what psychiatrists read internationally. The industry itself is rotten.

Ok if this is the case then I actually feel a little sorry for the doctor and would redirect the brownies to his manager.

He still should be offered remedial sandwich making lessons though. A hot plate. For chrissakes.

. I know a psychologist that prescribes adderoll for everyone, he says everyone is ADHD??

Is there a pharmacy in your local hospital ? If so maybe they can order it for you but you will need a prescription and maybe one that is only for hospitals.
I bet you are climbing the walls ?
