Just a little psychological trick, really... though I'm by no means "cured", I think looking at it from a perspective of surviving instead of suffering is much more powerful.

I get that completely. Sometimes outlook is everything!

I think it's human nature to search for a "cure" for everything... and to believe that some quick and easy solution must exist, but it's always been a dead-end for me.

My time's been much better spent on finding the courage to take one tiny, manageable step at a time in the right direction. Cures don't exist. Coping and recovery do.

OH, one more thing. It takes more of a man to admit that he's got problems than to act all tough and pretend nothing's wrong.

I hardly know anything about your husband, but could you please congratulate him for me? Took me forever to admit my problems, both to myself and others... but I hope that, whatever his unique story is, there's a happy ending to it.
