I'm new myself...but welcome!! Self-medication is so strong with PTSD...you're right...it does cover up the real issues! Love your attitude of being a survivor! I feel the same, and that I'm meant to help others who have gone through recent trauma. Keep being vulnerable (which is really pure courage, which our society has mistaken for weakness)!! We need more men like you who can help all the other men who are in denial.
