I was just looking through some older posts, when I just realised that this forum is coming around to be [DLMURL="http://www.ptsdforum.org/thread10.html"]four years old. Born on the 06 Sep 2005[/DLMURL]... it is only about 5 - 6 weeks away from being four (4). Wow... to all who make this what it is today.

By the way, did I forget to mention that all by its little self, this forum has worked its way from like 1000th position in Google for PTSD, to page 1 / 2 now. It fluctuates around, but is in the top 20 pretty much constantly now for Google... for PTSD.

Well done all... this is not about me, but you, the members. Well done.

I think from memory... I missed the anniversary last year. Doh! Likely this year also... could be overseas around that date maybe... ask Nicolette, she will tell you if we are or not.

You may not think it isn't about you, but without you Anthony, the forum wouldn't exist....It has grown tremendously, just in the 2 years I have been a member. Thanks!!!

Well, I think it is a combined effort of both Anthony and all who are here/have been here.

Anthony provided the platform and all members have contributed in some way, shape or form into making the place what it is today....just in the way a community evolves.

Without Anthony the forum would not exist but without contributing members the forum would not have continued to exist.

Nearly, 4 Yrs. Old and what's quoted below is pretty cool!

this forum has worked its way from like 1000th position in Google for PTSD, to page 1 / 2 now. It fluctuates around, but is in the top 20 pretty much constantly now for Google... for PTSD.

Hey! This is an amazing place, and not only because of the members, but because of you, Anthony. Thankyou!!

Anthony, you have every right to be very proud of all that has been achieved here, and may it continue to offer it's unique support to PTSD sufferers and their carers
:occasion:

Regards, CB

Congrats to you, Anthony and to all of us. I'm coming up on three years here (wow is all I can think about that) and I know deep in my heart that I wouldn't be nearly as far in my recovery if I hadn't found this place that I can come, just be me and learn to heal.

Thanks so much for that, Anthony.

Lisa

I had no idea you had only been around a couple of years when I came on board.

Well done Anthony. Don't know how you did it when ya had to deal with all us "crazies".

Anthony and the PTSD Forum
Congrats on almost 4 years:occasion: --in case I forget on the real date.

Even though I only looked for (and found) you the beginning of this month, I feel like I'm "at home" here.

Thanks for making it possible!

So Congratulations all round. With Anthony having the biggest round of applause ever, followed by Nicolette.

You nearly let the cat out of the bag though

Thanks for all your hard work

Amethist

I caught that too, but I thought I would just let it slide....But .....since you brought it up amethist....... possible we know where they will be honeymooning now.......and around what time frame......

Thanks Anthony, Nicolette and everyone else who makes this forum what it is.

I was a cybercrime investigator and became somewhat hesitant about becoming part of this forum. Having said that, the ptsd became so friggin' horrible that I needed to reach out to other people who were going through the same thing.

I'm confident coming to this site because I know that it is heavily moderated, not only by the editors, but by all of you who come here on a regular basis.

Thanks again for helping to keep me sane.

Hang in there. :occasion:

Cate

Cool Cate... cybercrime. That would be pretty fascinating... is it? You having your skillset, I am sure you have checked me and this site out anyway... I would have. Nothing much to find on me though... you are as safe as I can possibly do from my end... the rest is up to each member obviously.
