Anthony, does the signatures also carry over into some of the private areas where "real" names are sometimes used in signatures?

I will review the signature wording I think to include courtesy endings.

I think a courtesy ending would be good if we could use them.

Not signatures, but things like, Thanks for the info ~~~~, or Much appreciated ~~~~. as we most do know, or as we all would if hand writing a letter, or sending an e-mail.

Some websites allow 'signatures'. That being something which you set up on your profile page, which automatically appears at the end of all your posts. It might be an inspirational phrase, your favourite quote, or a link to your webpage. I've seen forums where 'signatures' are used, and it just clutters the whole forum up in my opinion. With some forums the 'signatures' take up more space than the posts, with tag lines and pictures!

I don't however see an issue with writing your user name or real name at the end of a post. Such as -

Take care of yourself,

I often write such things. And I will often start a reply with

Hello [username]

Maybe it's a bad habit, but I just see it as courteous.
