Hello, I was nicknamed Silent Sam while in foster care so I'm using that name. I was in foster care ten years along with two sisters and a brother. I was looking for a site like this and found it today otherwise I was thinking of starting one of my own as I see a need for it but I think this one might be of use to me.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you, hearing your stories and perhaps we can encourage and comfort each other and help each other to heal from the abuse we have experienced.

Welcome to MyPTSD forum!

This is a place where you no longer have to be "silent" as there is no one here to harm you, but a community of people that understand. I hope you can find you voice here.
