I know a number of you are dog lovers and owners, I will be one day. If by the rare chance you haven't seen this, enjoy. How 'not' to draw attention to yourself, via your dog.

The way most navy small arms training in the Navy goes... We only get to shoot like 20 rounds in bootcamp. Some during budget cut years/end of fiscal year didn't even get to fire ANY rounds.

Last I knew RTC Great Lakes still only does simulated fire. Gun range was closed back in the mid 90s due to lead toxicity. I am a decade plus out of date however...

I have no idea what they do anymore. I retired in 06, and the topic never came up with any of the newbies I talked to my last decade or so.
